Nobel laureate David MacMillan, who shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 2021, held a colloquium at the Department of Chemistry last Friday, May 3.
MacMillan, the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry at Princeton, discussed “The Development of Asymmetric Organocatalysis and Metallaphotoredox” in his laboratory.
The chemistry colloquium was well attended by faculty, staff, and graduate students. Gavin Williams, Department Head, presented MacMillan with an award highlighting his achievements in chemistry.
