Yao, 2024 Matthew Boudreau Award Recipient

Angela Yao has been awarded the Matthew W. Boudreau Undergraduate Summer Research Award for 2024, which will provide her with $4,650 to support her summer research in the Department of Chemistry.

Angela is a junior student majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Biology. She has been a member of the Chang research group for one and a half years, where she conducts research on enzyme-catalyzed reactions and the biosynthesis of unnatural amino acids.

Angela enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her cat, and baking when she is not conducting research.
