Leslie Sombers Joins Premier Journal Editorial Team

Congratulations to Dr. Leslie Sombers, Professor of Chemistry at NC State University, who has recently joined the editorial team at ACS Chemical Neuroscience journal as associate editor.

ACS Chemical Neuroscience publishes high-quality research articles and reviews that showcase chemical, quantitative biological, biophysical and bioengineering approaches to the understanding of the nervous system and to the development of new treatments for neurological disorders (About the Journal, ACS Chemical Neuroscience).

Dr. Sombers heads our interdisciplinary lab researching the intersection of neuroscience and neurochemistry. After acquiring her Bachelor’s and Masters from the College of William and Mary, she completed her Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University with a post-doctoral position at University of North Carolina.
