Questions & Answers
Why did you choose Chemistry as a field of study?
Growing up I enjoyed math and sciences classes. When I was about 5 or 6, my older brother got a chemistry set, which I thought was so cool. I got a chance to do a chemistry research project as a senior in high school and undergraduate research which really furthered my interest in the science.
What interests do you have outside of chemistry?
I grew up playing sports and still try to stay active. I also consume copious amounts of college football every Fall. I’m also interested in addressing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in STEM.
