Why did you choose Chemistry as a field of study?
At some point in my career as a K-12 educator, I have taught every math class, every science class and every grade level (but third grade) and out of all of those subjects and grade levels, I had the most fun teaching chemistry. It was the science that was a puzzle; it was the science I could anthropomorphize; it was the science that scared students and I thought I could make it not only understandable, but enjoyable. I desired to take this passion to the college-level and thus pursued a Ph.D.
