Why did you choose chemistry as your field of study?
The puzzle-like nature of organic chemistry was engaging and powerfully predictive for reactivity, and teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have dedicated myself to a career in teaching at the University-level to help spread my excitement about basic chemistry and help reduce any undue stress related to chemistry courses! I also feel that I have a current perspective on teaching and learning chemistry at NCSU, as I was a student here less than 10 years ago!
