Why did you choose chemistry as your field of study?

I was at several crossroads in college: biology, business, chemistry, and computer science. I fell in love with chemistry when I learned how quantitative it can be and how it can be used to impact human health. Another crossroad: medical school or graduate school? I decided I wanted to get into the details of the research rather than apply knowledge.
