Several College of Sciences staff members and units were honored at NC State’s Wellness Champion annual celebration and awards ceremony earlier this spring.

NC State Wellness Champions are university staff and faculty who advocate for and help facilitate an innovative culture and environment of wellness in their college, unit or department.

The following staff were honored for excelling in the University Wellness Champion point system, in which champions from across campus track and earn points for their wellness-related efforts:

  • Belltower Level (30 Points): Andrea Hoch, Mathematics
  • Brickyard Level (10 Points): McKenzy Lilliock, Physics

In addition, university Well Wolfpack Certified organizations earn Gold, Silver and Bronze designations for infusing holistic well-being practices into their units. The Sciences Gold Certified Organizations include the following groups:

  • Department of Chemistry
  • Dean’s Office
  • Sciences IT
