Congratulations to Sydney Welch (Williams group, “Enhancing the combinatorial biosynthesis of polyketides through acyltransferase engineering”)and Alejandro Valdes (Pierce group, “Next generation of vancomycin antibiotics”) who were poster winners at the Integrative Symposium of NC State Training Grants, on Feb. 9. Chemistry took home two of the three awards overall!!!.
