CGSA wins 2022 Outstanding Student Organization Award
The Chancellor’s Creating Community Award for Outstanding Student Organization recognizes a student organization at NC State that has incorporated diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to achieve its organization’s goals.
A big shout-out to our Chemistry Graduate Student Association (CGSA) for being nominated and selected to receive the 2022 Chancellor’s Creating Community Award in the category of Outstanding Student Organization. Not only does this recognize everything that the current CGSA executive team and members have done to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in our department, but it also recognizes the accomplishments of the previous executive team and members of the CGSA.
The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity hosted the annual Recognizing Excellence in Diversity (RED) Event, presenting the Chancellor’s Creating Community Awards in six categories on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
