It is our pleasure to announce that Reza Ghiladi has been promoted to the rank of Full Professor effective August 16, 2021.
Join us in congratulating him for this significant achievement that recognizes his extraordinary contributions and dedication to chemistry research, education, and service.
His research efforts include i) identifying metalloprotein structure-function relationships in multifunctional hemoproteins including Dehaloperoxidase (DHP) – the first identified multifunctional catalytic globin, and ii) the development of next-generation antimicrobial materials based on antimicrobial photodynamic inactivation and “pH-drop” strategies.
