Introducing Research to Chemistry Undergraduates at the 2024 Annual Poster Session
The Department of Chemistry is dedicated to providing students with opportunities to put their learning into practice and develop essential personal and career skills. To support this mission, we host the Annual Poster Session every fall semester. The primary aim of this event is to introduce freshmen and sophomore undergraduate students to the research being conducted within the department.
This year, the poster session occurred on Friday, October 25, in Dabney Hall on the first floor. All undergraduate and graduate researchers, as well as postdoctoral fellows from the department, were invited to present their work.
Eighteen posters from various chemistry research groups were displayed. Participants were asked to vote for their favorite poster. This year, there were three winners of the poster awards: Kara Musteikis and a tie between Gracie McNair and Edina Shub.
Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who participated! Your hard work is greatly appreciated!
