- The 2023 Housekeeping Appreciation Week was celebrated by the Chemistry community on September 20, 2023. A complimentary lunch was offered and gift cards were distributed to the housekeeping staff in charge of Dabney, Cox, and Fox halls.
- The Departmental Retreat that took place on May 9, 2023, was a huge success. After collecting positive feedback, the department decided to turn it into an annual event that fosters relationships and knowledge among the department constituents.

- The End-of-Year Picnic took place on May 12, 2023. Everyone enjoyed the food, the company, and the nice weather.
