Maxwell was born in San Diego, CA but he grew up in Cedar City, UT. He studied chemistry at Southern Utah University where he got his B.S. in May 2019. At SUU, he worked in the laboratory of Dr. Mackay Steffensen. He joined the Proulx lab in the Fall of 2019. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding and biking.
